THE CASA
OUR STORY
"From a family of tailors to a house of shoemaking — craft and tradition remains the foundation."
This brand is personal.
My father began tailoring at the age of six. My uncle built a shoemaking business from nothing. I grew up watching hands work — slowly, deliberately, without shortcuts.
That is the only way I know how to build something.
D. Lacquaniti was born from that legacy — not to replicate what they did, but to carry the same standard forward. Every shoe we make is handcrafted in Italy by artisans who share that belief: that what you make with your hands should be worthy of the person who wears it.
THE CRAFT
Each pair takes between 10 and 15 hours to complete — cut, stitched, lasted, and finished entirely by hand.
We use only the finest Italian leathers and materials. No shortcuts. No substitutions. If it doesn't meet our standard, it doesn't leave the atelier.
We produce in small quantities — intentionally. Every collection is limited, and once it's gone, it doesn't come back. This isn't a marketing strategy. It's a reflection of how handmade things actually work.
THE PHILOSOPHY
We don't believe in trends that expire. We believe in timeless silhouettes with a modern sensibility — shoes that feel as right five years from now as they do today.
We don't believe in selling. We believe in dressing women who know exactly who they are — and giving them something worthy of that.
And we don't believe in being everywhere. We believe in being right — in the hands of the women who find us.
"What you make with your hands should outlast the moment it was made for."
— Dominic Lacquaniti, Founder
